Workshop: “Build your own station!”

On the weekend of 20 and 21 May, a workshop was held in the Georgian capital Tbilisi to teach volunteers from the public to make air quality measuring stations with their own hands. The prototype station is called “AirGE”, and the workshop created another three dozen stations based on its model. They will be completed over the next few weeks. The next important step will be to approach members of the public who are willing to place the station outside their window or on their balcony. In the first phase, these devices will measure the level of fly dust (PM), and later they will be able to measure other types of pollution.
